Possible scam call

Just had a call from 0292 032 90xx saying they were Virgin and my router was hacked.

Asked for a weird lookup of IP (just made to look like Google), and was to try the story that my IP was changed to link to the USA.

Then wanted me to download TeamViewer, where I knew was a scam onto my phone.

Be aware!

    Welcome to the community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having getting what is most definitely a scam call, we would not be calling our customers to advise that or ask you to download any other 3rd party software to check your connection. Please block this number if the call was on your mobile.
