Constant Calls

I have been having constant calls from people claiming that they are from marketing. The number is +44 800 052 1251. I get these calls every single day and they are usually around the same time each day. If I donโ€™t pick up they keep calling me till I do. Iv googled the number which tells me that this is a virgin media phone number. Has anyone else experienced this ?

    We'd recommend updating your marketing preferences via your online account ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://www.virginmedia.com/help/account (Select 'Marketing Preferences' and then log in). 

    If you have any difficulties with this, please let us know and we can always help do it for you manually. Please note, it can take a few days for our systems to catch up and reflect the changes.

    The number may be spoofed, however to avoid calls from VM turn of marketing.

    Sign into My Virgin Media  

    https://www.virginmedia.com/myvmo2/account-settings/marketing-and-contact-preferences

    Untick the box next to Sounds good! Keep me up to date in the Marketing consent section, and then click on Save Changes.

    It can take up to 30 days for the changes to take effect.

    If you have a sim/mobile with O2 do you should also turn off marketing by signing into MyO2.

    You might also want to think about registering with https://www.tpsonline.org.uk/
