sky fibre broadband

I went to my brother's house to sort out his ethernet connection, turns out no one bothered to check the crimped rg45 ends and had to recrimp 10 cables. While I was there I noticed he had sky fibre. The router didn't have any model number but was disappointed that there were only 4 LAN ports, and no uplink , so technically you only have 3 ports . Is this common with ISPs these days?  The other port connects to the ONT box.  Do SKY have ethernet backhaul WiFi boosters? Are they free?

Unfortunately I told him to have a minimum of 3 cat 6 cables for each TV, and he only did one. I also told him to install RG6 cable in case he decides just to have regular digital TV, however the newest Samsung have about 200 free channels I noticed.

Most ISP routers have around 4 ports, as it's very easy to install a switch should you need more.  As for Wifi extenders, I prefer to source my own kit.  Smart TV's have had a lot of free channels for some time, the last time I scanned mine, it was around 180 or so.  Most of these however are ad supported and I really dislike this type of TV station ...
