Ongoing Unresolved Billing Issue with Virgin Media – Urgent Attention Needed
I wanted to share a serious concern and see if anyone else is facing something similar—or can advise me. I’ve noticed three separate payments scheduled for direct debit for the same month by Virgin Media, with one of the charges being £52—which is outrageous, especially since I’m not even using any additional services that would justify this. My original package was far less £27, and I had already requested to be unsubscribed from the entertainment services. Despite raising a formal complaint with them over a week ago, I’ve had no response. I find it extremely concerning that a reputable company is 1) charging unjustified amounts, 2) ignoring a formal complaint, and 3) not giving a clear breakdown of costs. This level of service is unfair and stressful—especially as someone who is managing finances tightly. If anyone has any experience dealing with them or knows how to escalate this further (Ombudsman, etc.), please let me know.Incorrectly being charged for 4 boxes when I have only 2 boxes in house.
Incorrectly being charged for 4 boxes when I have only 2 boxes in house. 2 days in chat and going around in circles. I have a main box and an additional in bedroom which I have had for years now. But on checking bill I am being charged for mini boxs. Whe I'm on chat I'm being told I have 4 ? I don't and being charged very unhappy. Who do I speak to about VM charging me nearly £20 extra a month despite my contract for Netflix which IS included in my Mega Volt package? I have now spent HOURS on the phone where I was told it is either me, or Netflix adding these to my invoice. It is a joke, and recently renewed VM contact - exactly the same - and I should have trusted my gut and not renew it. I will give the broadband where I live is pot on and hardly ever breaks, but the pricing and billing and the CS is ridiculous. I would like to speak to someone who can actually help me and stop these charges and not being sent to Netflix people?35Views0likes1CommentContract not renewed now they want a fortune
It has been a while since I've needed help from you guys. However, I renewed my tv, broadband etc on the 24th of jan. It was basically the exact same package but for less so no equipment required. I got the contract info that day. I was changing from £138.06 to £95.70. My price was going down, happy days. Today, I just received a bill which is saying I'm out of contract and they're charging me £175.70. I've tried to get in touch but no joy. I need your help guys. I have all the contract info etc.Solved61Views0likes3CommentsOvercharged on agreed contract
Just wondering if there is a telephone number for the UK Billing Team as it seems that the Outsourced team have a total inability to correspond with the Billing Team to tell them that Virgin UK are are ignoring their contractual agreement with regards to what they should be billing us. On the 4th May talked to the Outsource agent again explaining payment demand yet again received for £88.00 that didn't agree with our agreed payment which is supposed to be £52.10, briefly; On the 4th talked to someone called Mikaela @10:31 trying to get this sorted, but after a couple of hours of getting nowhere she put through to Collections and spoke to someone called May Bella who's assured us that our account was fully paid up and to ignore the £88.00 demand sent in April as for 11 months our payment will be £52.10, due to overcharge at end of Feb '23 on the new contract. Now we get the same demand for £88.00 on bill dated May 11th We've cancelled out DD with Virgin as it seems they'd rather overcharge us then sort it out, this DD will ONLY be put back in place once they've sorted out what our monthly bills should be.Solved1.4KViews2likes6Comments
