Can I transfer forum history from another account?
I have another account/ID for use with this forum, which was created 15 years ago, when I had a previous contract with VirginMedia. When I logged in on that other ID earlier today I realised that the email address (on ntlworld.com) is no longer valid, so I tried to change it. I tried to use the email address associated with my current contract with VM - which is the same as that defined for this ID I am using now. Naturally that email address change attempt was rejected with 'address already associated with another account' error message. Using a different, valid, email address, was successful. Now I have two IDs associated with this forum, which is unnecessary. To be consistent I think I should use the newer ID, created when I started my new contract with VM about 2 months ago. Is it possible to transfer the history associated with my older forum ID to this newer ID, or must I just keep the old one up to date and not delete it?Emails and VPN
My VM e-mails recently stopped working when I have my VPN enabled. My other e-mails accounts (Yahoo, iCloud, etc.) work fine with VPN. After a 20 minute call to VM Customer Support, I have now been informed that VM e-mail does not support VPN connections! I'm pretty sure that they mean "no longer supports VPN connections". Hopefully, this facility will be restored soon.
