Email not sending - Correct Server Settings
Can someone please help. I am going mad with this and going round in circles. Recently my emails from my outlook app have not been sending and now emails from my desktop outlook at not sending either and I am being prompted to enter a user name and password. I rely on my emails and the only way I can send email is through the webmail. I have had a virginmedia account for years now. Emails are coming in but cannot be sent. Please help. I tried to phone 151 but there is no option for email assistance anymore. The pop up box to enter these details is consistent and it is annoying to say the least. Hi. I’m currently waiting for my virgin media to be fitted. I’ve had emails come through with my account number, and my email, yet the bank account the bills will be directed to is not one I recognise. I can’t change any of the details, as my app won’t allow me to log in. It says that my accounts aren’t linked. I can only assume it’s because I am a prior customer? Any help at all? Hello, I am a new customer and I am unable to log in to my virgin media account. When I click sign in it says : ''Sorry, you can't access this page''. Then it tells me to link my virgin media account to my o2 account, then it tells me that they have found my account but the email adress dosn't match. I need to set up a new App password to connect the VM mail server to my outlook client. This password will take this form: word-next-more-last. Before recent changes, I had more than once changed this password. I recorded the procedure: Sign in to My Virgin Media Go to Account settings, then Account details Tap Manage next to Manage your Virgin Media Mail app password under Virgin Media Mail Then, under Virgin Media Mail app password tap Generate new App password and follow the instructions. A new secure password will be generated for you. Now the Virgin Media Mail settings tab takes you to the identity and security options! Hello For the past few days ive been trying so much to reset my password, ive requested a email thing like over 10 times but i havent even received 1 email, ive tried both my 2 emails 1 of which registered to my account but nothing? Reason why im worried is i was due to pay £40 by wednesday and i been trying to login since Monday, i dont even know why the app signs me out randomly? like i remember my password but site says its wrong?... im confused on what todo and my contract ends in 2 months and ive been wanting toupgrade my tariff before my contract ends too but i cant get access to my virgin media account. p.s ive looked everywhere i cannot find the area code, account number like i have nothing on this except my email, what can i do? i would really like to login to virgin media to pay my bill before you add late fees. I’ve had no issue signing up for the community forum account, and verifying my email was a breeze. However, I’ve been unable to sign up for a My Virgin Media Account at all. I’m a new customer, and any time I’ve tried the link in an email it’s coming back as expired, despite clicking the link within seconds of receiving it. I’ve tried having the email re-sent, but it’s rarely they actually even get received. I’ve probably requested another email 40+ times, and only had about 4 emailed links. I’m not even sure when my broadband goes live or anything in terms of my new broadband, so would like access to my account asap. please help! Thanks!442Views1like1Comment
