TNT misery
So I signed up for a TNT sports Black Friday deal advertised in my VM App. The deal was £5 a month for the first three months then £25 thereafter. I quickly received an email confirming the sign up and listing TNT as an added channel. However, the channel was not activated and when I got in touch about this the agent said there was no such deal as it was for new customers only. It didn’t say this in the marketing or during sign up. ‘But you sent me an email confirming my subscription’, I said. The agent said they had no record of this!! After three hours of persistence they eventually agreed there had been an error, so as an apology said they would give me TNT free for three months and then charge £25 after that. Ok I said. BUT! My latest bill not only shows a £25 charge for the first month of ‘free’ TNT but also a £5 charge for the 3 month Black Friday deal that was never activated. So they’ve charged me £5 for something that never happened and they then lied about offering me £25 off for the first three months. However I do have screenshots of their false promises. Don’t trust their marketing nor their customer service agents. Scammers. In the meantime I’ll be cancelling TNT and then my main contract when that’s expired. Been with NTL then Virgin for over 25 years.43Views0likes3CommentsHow to cancel a TNT Sport Subscription
Is there a way to cancel my TNT sport subscription online or via the tv box? Nothing seems to work and just sends me to a chat box but that never works at the time im trying to do it. is there another way ideally that can be used out of office hours?742Views0likes2CommentsFree TNT Sports offer - Eurosport being removed
Hi I received an email saying due to the fact we watch Eurosport and it is being deactivated end Feb, we can get TNT Sports for free (charged for but credited by Virgin) for the remainder of our contract. I have the V6 box and couldn't do the add-on on the box (as per the email instructions). I can however do it in the Virgin Media App. My questions: Should I upgrade to V360 box and then try the TNT add-on OR Add the TNT add-on via my App? If so, will the credit actually be applied, as when I rang Virgin they had no idea what I was talking about! Is there a way to email someone or share a screenshot of the offer email so it can be all sorted without me being charged £18 extra a month. Ideally I don't want to upgrade to V360 just to get this, if there is a simpler way. Has anyone successfully done this and how? Thanks JamieSolved1.3KViews0likes10Comments
