How much content is being ip blocked?
I say this because I pay for content hosting solutions via mega.nz and other platforms, and the only way of now being able to get access to them is by the means of now having to pay for a vpn, or change my dns. This has become a recent issue, I have tried getting access on three different machines, different browsers all using my connection to no avail. I made contact with the providers who assured me that there is no server issues at their end, this was apparent when I gained access via vpn in france. So I can only assume that Virgin has added certain hosts to it websafe block list without informing anyone. Repeatedly tried to phone for confirmation, from the tech services and was met with indifference and more pushy sales garbage than a street seller on a bad day in vegas. I live in WS10 (Wednesbury) in the West Midlands (Sandwell). I've experienced outage in my area since 31st March 2025 (it is now 2nd June 2025!). I signed up for SMS updates and get multiple SMS's every day extending the date for resolution. All say that the latest update is that an engineer is on site and they're working to fix the problem - then multiple times every day extending the date and/or time for resolution. I work from home for mental health services in the NHS and every day has been distressing for both myself and patients when I'm constantly, multiple times a day, unable to connect to MS Teams or get kicked out of my meetings. I've been forced to make a complaint today via the on-line form - which wasn't working either(!) which has been a further source of frustration. How do I find an accurate graph of my usage over my term of contract. I’m wanting to leave virgin but I want to compare the other providers. Every link virgin shows on the forum comes up with an error, The website is tricky to navigate, phoning someone leads to over an hour on the phone which may still end without the answer I want.
