Can’t connect to WiFi pod or router
I’ve got a Hub 4 and I’ve just completed a 60 second restore as I can’t connect to the WiFi pod or router. The Connect app won’t work and shows errors connecting and I can’t get to the router on 192.168.0.1 Is the only option to get a Hub 5?787Views0likes8CommentsUnable to Order Wifi Pods - Connect App Does Not Allow Orders
Please get somebody competent to just comb through every reference and page forwarding customers to the Virgin Connect App to order wifi pods. The Connect App will just continuously spam you for positive reviews even if you click unhappy, that aside even when running the 'home scan' all virgin support pages continuously forward you to, you cannot actually order a WiFi pod from the connect app. It's literally impossible, even the results of the 'Poor' scan forward you to the app it's already running in. Basic UX competency failure on all ends with the VM Connect App, the other app, the online forms, the online support chat, even the complaints form I filled out the response was pointing to the same place. I'm within my 14 days so seriously considering jumping ship if this is what's to be expected from Virgin Media. It's not that hard, it's common sense that a single router can't reach all rooms of a house with a loft. Why point customers in these loops asssuming that the customer is a pleb when you haven't even considered or tested your own links/feedback loops. Yes I've reset the router, Yes I've run the scans on the app, Yes I have WiFi Max included on my rip off contract which boasts wifi pods they are reluctant to actually give you. False advertising at the get go. Evidence in case that is also going to be parroted; https://ibb.co/x6YQS5Z Apologies if the tone comes across negative just exhausted from chasing this around since installation.Solved1.9KViews2likes10CommentsHub 4 - Connect app
I note from a message on the connect app there are current issues with the HUB5 and Connect app, but my Connect app will not connect to my Hub 4 even when sitting at the side of it. Responds with 'Hub not found'. or ‘we can’t find your hub. Also ‘somethings gone wrong our side’ I accept that as it was ok. So what’s gone wrong? Could it be the WiFi is still unstable as previously reported? The hub and pods are connecting with devices but not the connect app.697Views0likes9CommentsHub 5 - Wi-Fi Pods - Connect App
Hi Hopefully someone can help with a couple of questions, I had a very helpful engineer visit me yesterday to look at my broadband and Hub 4, he ended up having to replace the Hub 5 which I am very happy with, I was wondering how I can pair my pods to the new hub? I have 3 and might not even use them but would like to have them paired in case Also my Connect app is not working how do I change it so it knows I have got a new hub?498Views0likes3CommentsConnect App and Wifi Pods not connecting
Recently received a Hub 5. I can’t get the connect app to find the router, and also wifi pods won’t connect. The hub works and I have internet and wifi. Performed all usual troubleshooting: Hub: rebooted and also performed full reset. Connect App: tried uninstalling/reinstalling app. Fresh sign in. No VPNs connected etc. even tried a different phone altogether. Wifi Pods: tried nearer and further away from hub. Powered off and on. Left on for days. Made sure of no interference (never used the pods before, so do I need to register it somewhere? Instructions say just plug in and turn on, how does it know which router to connect to)? I called VM support and they have just said they will log a ticket to the technical team… very helpful… Anyone experienced the same? Any advice would be much appreciated.Solved4.2KViews0likes27CommentsConnect app can’t find hub 5
Just got a new hub 5. Installed it, rebooted it several times and have done a factory reset. I am not on any VPN. I have tried connecting the vm connect app but it can’t find the hub. Now I can’t connect my Wi-Fi pod so all dependant devices can’t connect.891Views0likes5Comments
