What is the cheapest service you offer? Re: Virgin Net Email Hi David, A solution would be to give at least 90 days notice, the same as others who end service rather than the 30 days. That would at least help people who have trusted the brand for all these years. Re: Virgin Net Email Because it is finding sites you have used the email address on, then changing it to the new one, which most sites want you to confirm the change on your old email address. Over 25yr a lot of sites have the email address. A year gives time for the ones that you only use annually. Re: Virgin Net Email Paying or not, it is bad brand customer service. I would pay to keep the email for 12 months so I had the time to move all my contacts to another email address, yet after 25yr of giving virgin brand advising every time I handed that email address out, you would think they would be a bit more helpful. Virgin Net Email This sudden termination of the Virgin Net email address with just 30 days notice is a disgrace. A lot of people have been using these emails for over 20 years. The notice should be at least 1 year to give people the time for the huge task of contacting people, updating their email address and being able to receive a email on the virgin account to verify the update. Re: Email claiming Virgin Media will close my account 30 days is not sufficient time to contact and update a email address that someone has been handing out to people for 25yr. I would suggest 12 months would be sufficient.
