Installing a new box outside for multiple flats
I live in a converted Victorian property with many flats, many tenants are with VM. Recently an engineer came to fix an issue with my connection and upon coming across old cables and boxes that look very messy on the outside walls, he suggested the landlord might want to ask VM to install a new big "distribution box" (I'm not sure what it's called). He even gave me a booklet which says I can refer someone and earn £50. I mentioned it to the landlord who said it's a good idea and to find out how to go about it. So here I am posting this. Is this kind of thing free and how do I go about booking such an installation?Re: Spam call?
Thanks, and I can see the mod marked it as spoofed which confirms it was a scam. I suspected that's the case. Actually, my own personal number got spoofed before, I used to get calls from random people saying they had a missed call from me. I don't think anything can be done about it though.😐Spam call?
I just had a call from [MOD EDIT: Spoofed number] claiming to be from VM, sounded like an Indian call centre and started off by saying VM has merged with O2 and have I experienced any issues. Sounded to me like 100% spam call but I was surpriesed not to find any reports of that number, and it actually seems to belong to a company called "Bullhorn Consultants Limited". On my phone it came up as "BIAARS". I hung up. Anyone else had something similar?
