Unfortunately, I suspect she's been paying for it for quite a while as I flagged this up to VM via this forum six months ago, but didn't check to see removal of charge had been actioned/I had completed process - as I ended up in hospital myself! It went out of my mind until now. Has anyone had a un-requested service added on? And could any moderators help me getting it taken off without me going through the hell that is Virgin phone lines? Zoom/Teams freezing every 15 mins I can see this has been happening to others sometimes and resulted in an engineer visit. Other usage is ok. I’ve tried restarting modem and trying to pull some packet data but VM connect can’t locate modem even when I’m right next to it and all my devices are working and on the internet. Any other solutions to resolve? Add-on on bill that wasn’t requested My mum (who is 85) asked me why her bill had gone up by £5-7 and if she was out of contract. I manage her virgin contract for her and I knew it wasn’t due for renewal until Feb 25, and it wasn’t an inflation increase. Just checked her bill and she has TNT sports as an add on for last few months!! Fairly sure she didn’t do this on purpose 😅 at least so it must be a mistake on Virgin’s part? Happen to anyone else? And can I do something about this online? Not keen to sit in a phone queue for ages. Unresolved complaint and failure to fulfil contract I made a complaint on the 25th January about the fact I'd accepted an email offer to renew my contract from Virgin and although I'd downloaded the pre-contract info, and confirmed, I hadn't had an email confirmation and it wasn't appearing on my account. I'd tried ringing customer services and using the chat function and they couldn't help (in fact were very unhelpful). I was contacted by a member of customer service about the complaint who said she could see the contract was pending and not to worry, it would come into force on the day my old contract was up. Guess what... she emailed me on the 6th February (the day the contract was up) and said there had been a problem and it hadn't been actioned. She said she'd check it out and get back to me. Two weeks later, crickets... In the meantime, I've been charged a massive out of contract monthly price. I tried submitting a second complaint about and Virgin have closed it without even speaking to me. So what's going on? At this point, I'm so disgusted with the service.
