I can change the password within the email client, but you will need to change it your end also. kind regards Paul Email authentication Facing an issue for the last 2 or 3 days. I have serveral email address set up in my email client on windows10 but one of them now giving an error: Task xxx.yyy@ntlworld.com Receiving report error (0x800CCC92) : your email server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password for the account in account settings. The server repsonded :- ERR [AUTH] authentication failed. As this is the only account failing I am wondering if Virgin have changed the password rules??? If they have , they have not told me !! When I tried to log on to webmail on my PC it asked me to change my password but then gave an error telling me to contact support. Strangely on my pad I can still log into webmail. Apart from voice control what are the advantages of 360 over v6? Better picture? It would have been usefull to know beforehand that you have made changes your end! kind regards Paul Virgin have changed something on email today outgoing server settings (pop3 client) now need smtp authentication ! did not receive anything from virgin saying they were changing this!! Have got many client machines to change now!! regards Paul
