I have recontracting this afternoon and it went pretty well…..initially offered same package but £15 more per month ( Netflix adds)…..this was then dropped by £5…..Said I would consider shopping around and then phone retention department……was put through to retention department and got the exact same package for £2.47 less than what I am currently paying…..only issue is Netflix adds….. I did have two recordable 360 boxes when I first migrated over from the TiVo system and one off them got switched off when I renewed my agreement. Kind regards Cold call to renew Hi folks I just received a phone call from 0800 052 8675 person saying that he was from Virgin Media and wanted to offer a new contract! I explained that I was somewhat sceptical about this call ( sill got 3 months left on my current contract) and didn’t want to confirm my details to allow the conversation to continue. Person advised me to contact VM customer service to confirm that he was a genuine!! Has anyone else had this experience and can a moderator confirm this? Remote replacement 360 Can a virgin media staff please explain why I have been charged £10 for a replacement remote control. I phoned to report a fault and after going through several checks the problem identified was the remote control and a new remote control would be sent out.
