As with many problems on here, this one seems to have gone away after a week of ups and downs. As mentioned below, I think I need to re-think my use of VM as a mail provider. Re: Blueyonder email problem once again Thank you, I know I need to do this but it's an immense task. I've had this email address for as long as I can remember and it's no mean feat to change all my accounts which reference it. Blueyonder email problem once again It seems that every year we get a problem accessing our blueyonder and virginmedia email addresses. This time there are numerous posts on here all from people with the same problem. There's no organised response, different people seem to get different advice about what to do. The introduction of email ID has been a farce - another password to remember. I have the same issue many others have - withour warning I can no longer access my blueyonder email - my main email address that I've used for more than 20 years - on my phone or tablet. I go to MyVirginMedia, go through all the hoops and get to the page where I can generate a new email app password for my Virgin Media Mail account. I generate the new password - 21 characters thank you very much - type it laboriously into my phone only to get "unable to verify account name or password". This is so incredibly frustrating. And it seems to happen at least once a year. SolvedRe: 403 Forbidden It's a blueyonder.co.uk mailbox. Re: 403 Forbidden Yes I am. 403 Forbidden Hi team. One of my email addresses has been used by a member of my family and they accessed it using Microsoft Mail, which has now been discontinued. I'm trying to access the email address through My Virgin Media (Quick Link to Virgin Media Mail) but getting the 403 Forbidden message. Can someone please help me access the webmail so I can organise a new email client for my family member? Or perhaps there's another way to manage this email address? Thanks SolvedChanging tariff - incorrect amount of package credit. When I changed tariff in December 2023, reducing my services to save money, I received an email telling me that the package changes would result in a credit of £88. Instead, when the bill arrived the package changes were a credit of £38. I've been charged £50 more than I was promised. The "view my bill" provides no information about how the package credits have been calculated. How do I get what I was promised? SolvedRenewed account: Your next bill will be ... It wasn't Like many others, renewed my account before Christmas, agreeing to reduced services to cut costs. All went well, offered and accepted the same £64 deal that many others on here have mentioned. Got a very clear email saying this is what you've now got, this is what you've removed. All very clear. At the bottom of the email, highlighted in a red box, details of my new monthly bundle cost, and an explanation of what my transitional bill would be. Except when the transitional bill is issued, it's £50 more than they stated it would be. Looking online "View My Bill" there's no explanation of how they arrive at the package change credit, no way to check if it's correct or not. Why is everything so difficult with Virginmedia?
