SolvedRe: One touch switch vs 30 day notice - do they interfere? Hi, please can you confirm the one touch switch is in place? Thank you Re: One touch switch vs 30 day notice - do they interfere? Hi, I haven't initiated the switch yet because of this. I was told it would be cancelled if i dont cancel the disconnection? One touch switch vs 30 day notice - do they interfere? Switching to vodafone. The agent at vodafone said to cancel the 30 day notice first before switching. But the VM agent said it's fine to use the one touch switch without having to cancel the 30 day notice. I recall reading this could interfere but considering vodafone and virgin media use separate infrastructure it should be fine. Quite confusing, any advice on this? Re: One touch switch - vodafone cannot find my broadband service? That's true. I'm not sure really. The agent at vodafone said to cancel the disconnection first and then do the one touch switch. Re: One touch switch - vodafone cannot find my broadband service? Managed to fix this thanks to a helpful agent at vodafone. The issue was due to not having an existing landline (I thought the landline number still existed even though i didn't have landline as part of my current contract with VM) so i had to get a new landline number. One touch switch - vodafone cannot find my broadband service? I don't get why it's so hard to switch! I tried to do the one touch switch but they couldn't find my broadband with virgin media. Is it because i requested a disconnection prior to doing this? If so i need to un-disconnect with virgin media first and then do one touch switch again? And how long will that take? I dont want to un-disconnect, find out it STILL doesn't work and then have to pay for another week of my new hiked contract. Discounts end during a coverage period? Hi, all my previous bills were £29, but this month it increased to £40. I asked the chat agent and they said "It is actually not ended halfway. Since your contract with the agreed price ends this coming 16/03/2025.". They explained my "bill amounting £40.11 with a coverage period of 24th of February to 23rd of March has 6 discounts. These 6 discounts you have is only available up until 16 of March. Therefore there are days that has been computed without those discounts which caused you bill to be higher than the package you are paying from previous month." This is confusing. Why would they end discounts during a coverage period? SolvedRe: Charged £25 fee for appointment Haha yes it was, had to talk to a second agent who ordered the Wi-Fi pods so that’s sorted. Charged £25 fee for appointment Hi, I hope someone can solve this as I’ve seen the same problem being posted many times. I’ve been charged £25 for an appointment call out fee but I was never told I would be charged this. I didn’t miss the appointment either. Or ask for one. Thank you,
