Cancelling your DD while your account is still active is nearly always a bad idea despite the guy saying you don't owe anything. If you owe anything and no DD is live it could affect your credit rating. Virgin bill right up to disconnection date so you may pay for the following month but they will refund any owed cash into your account. Best of luck with billing them for your time.
