Is it a coincidence that I received a message from Yodel, yesterday evening, saying that they have my Virgin package and it will be delivered by 30th Dec ? If your intervention caused this to happen, thank you ! Equipment return. Over the last 2 months, following a house move, I have requested the packaging to return the VM kit on 3 separate occasions as I’m receiving frequent reminders that I’ve not returned my equipment. I have now been informed that, if the equipment has not been returned by 01/01/25 I will be charged £190 ! I’m trying not to be cynical and thinking that if VM don’t send the packaging……… How is the packaging sent ? Via courier? Royal Mail ? SolvedCancellation Fee I informed Virgin Media in Sept that I would be moving on 1st November to a property which they do not supply. On 2 occasions I have sent utility bills showing the new address, as requested, yet they refuse to close the account and I now have an overdue notice saying I owe a £280 including cancellation fee. I have spoken to several agents in the HomeMovers team without success. Can anyone advise how I can escalate this? Re: Moving house. No Virgin coverage. Cancellation fee ? Thank you for the explanation, Ilyas Re: Moving house. No Virgin coverage. Cancellation fee ? Thanks. That makes sense Moving house. No Virgin coverage. Cancellation fee ? I am moving on the 1st of November to a property where Virgin does not currently provide services. I called to confirm that, as I was not able to continue with Virgin, I would not be charged a contract cancellation fee. However, I was told that I would indeed be charged a cancellation fee, which would be reimbursed once I had proved that I was in residence at a property which Virgin does not serve. It seems bizarre that I have to prove that my new property does not receive Virgin services, when Virgin have already told me it doesn’t ! Solved
