It was eventually sorted after three days. It turned out to be a rat that had chewed through a main cable in one of the boxes in our area. More concerning was that there was only one engineer covering Cambridge and Peterborough. It seems we drew the short straw.39Views0likes0CommentsMajor Outage
I live in Cambridge (Cambs) and I along with many VM Customers are suffering from a total blackout, no BB, TV or Phone for the past 24 hours. VM are being very cagey as to what the problem is or when we can expect a fix. Anyone on here got an answer. I have also just received a Recontract email. My current contract has three months left. My offer is to re contract now and my current price will be fixed until 31st March 2025. I currently pay £78, but have a discount of £27, so in July my price will increase to £105, plus the April increase. Do I assume the offer is what I am paying at present? So on this basis I will save £243 (27x9). Sounds to good to be true. Also when you try to view the offer all you get is “Oops something went wrong”.
