Hello johnwilko, Thank you for your post and welcome to our community 😀 When Apple TV launches straight into show trailers there should be an option on the top left hand of your screen to press 'back' to get to the main menu during the trailers, and once you press that you can get out of the series of trailers. Once this is done, you should be able to interrupt the trailers on subsequent app opens using the down button.
