No further issues though so far 360 upgrade Recordings I’ve just upgraded to Virgin 360. When I did the upgrade I got a message saying it had failed and to try again. I did try again and got a message saying turn off and reboot the box again first. I did that and when it came back up, it came back up as 360, so seems to have worked after all. Everything seems ok apart from the recordings. Series link recordings seem to work but individually recorded programmes only record partially. Any advice? Re: Security certificate error message Seems to be working again now 👍 Re: Security certificate error message We’re having the same issue too. Can’t access any apps apart from Netflix or the Help pages Re: Security certificate error message Just noticed that all apps apart from Netflix are showing the same error message. Any ideas? Re: Security certificate error message Hi, this message appeared last night when trying to watch YouTube on our TV: Security Error This server could not prove that it is content.dtv.virginmedia.com;its security certificate is not trusted by your computers operating system. This may be caused by a configuration or an attacker intercepting your connection. you should not proceed especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site It then gives two options - Back to safety or proceed anyway but neither works. I’ve changed my Virginmedia password and rebooted the V6 box but hasn’t made any difference. can you tell me what’s wrong and what I need to do to fix it? Thanks Re: Email not working Thanks. I received another email yesterday telling me my account had been locked so I’ve had to reset again. No idea why this keeps happening as haven’t received any unusual or suspicious emails. Can you help find out why please as yrs getting to be quite annoying? Thanks Re: Email not working Thanks all. It seems that Virgin had locked my account after being concerned about suspicious activity. I had to follow the process described above and have. I’ve got access again. Received another email yesterday with the same message but have reset again and it all seems ok so far. I have asked if they can clarify what’s triggering this as haven’t received anything that has caused me any concern (apart from their email) Email not working My emails stopped working last night with an error message saying I needed to add a password to my settings even though one is already there. When I logged into My Virginmedia this morning it was asking me to renew my contract so presume this is the issue with my emails. I have renewed (about an hour ago) but still can’t get into my emails. Do I need to do anything else? All other services are working fine.
