The box doesn't crash or display any messages, I can come straight out back to the normal menus. The on-demand service apps were working fine at the weekend, and as far as I'm aware nothing has changed. The other posts I've seen all seem to report an Error 02050 which I'm not seeing. Any ideas? Removal of the “Flo” keyboard I noticed a little while ago that this keyboard option didn't seem to be working any more and now see it was removed in v5.09. I don't search very often but found it was significantly faster that the option we are left with. Why are useful features like this removed, surely updates should improve functionality and not cripple features. Is this keyboard likely to be coming back? Re: Incoming emails not arriving since this morning. One I know would have been sent from Amazon still hasn't arrived 17 hours later and another took 3 hours to get to mx6-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services earlier this morning. 8am Sunday morning and the delays are still very much there, if anything I'm tempted to say building up again. This is getting silly possibly time to look to move, I don't think you can use email problems though to cancel your Virgin contract. Re: Incoming emails not arriving since this morning. One important email was delayed by 2.5 days, I had 30 minutes to respond to it. fwd0.hosts.co.uk had it at 2024-05-07 13:10:43 UTC mx7-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services accepted it at 2024-05-10 01:41:37 UTC which is 2d 12h 30m 54s later. My feeling is either the ???-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services cluster is extremely stressed, or they are running some kind of rate limiting or tarpitting. It seems to be random, no consistency as to sender or route which to me implied they are stressed in some way. Most emails seem to have come through now, but there are still some delays on current ones. Re: Incoming emails not arriving since this morning. Hi Zammie21, yes they are improving. Quite a few emails are dribbling through now, they are coming in randomly from over the past couple of days. Some have no delay, and there are some which still haven't arrived so it's not fixed but looks to be in recover. Re: Incoming emails not arriving since this morning. Some have been slowly trickling through this afternoon. I've analysed some of the headers to see if there was a pattern to the delay but there doesn't seem to be much consistency across the cluster. The third column is the time take for their edge server to accept the incoming email. mx3-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-07 15:50:39 UTC 21m 3s mx3-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-08 08:19:59 UTC 2m 22s mx3-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-08 19:39:01 UTC 2m 51s mx5-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-09 10:52:42 UTC 2d 1h 51m 27 mx5-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-08 01:46:35 UTC 4m 6s mx6-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-07 08:07:23 UTC 0s mx6-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-09 16:21:12 UTC 2d 5h 30m 23s mx6-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-08 13:59:12 UTC 1m 49s mx7-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-07 15:56:09 UTC 19m 53s mx7-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-09 14:25:20 UTC 1d 21h 53m 19s mx10-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-07 17:50:25 UTC 26m 58s mx11-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-07 17:00:28 UTC 2m 21s mx12-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-08 19:19:42 UTC 23h 9m 47s mx12-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-09 12:50:35 UTC 23h 37m 47s mx12-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services 2024-05-09 15:44:04 UTC 11h 39m 57s Re: Incoming emails not arriving since this morning. Update Wednesday evening, this has been ongoing since Tuesday morning. A very small number of email had come through, probably well under 5% and some of those had been delayed by some time. There are some I've not received, so that's about 36 hours delay so far. I called Virgin and got passed through four different departments, all checking I can see my inbox etc etc and showing very little understanding of what the problem was. I appreciate that they need to run through the basics but I was very clear walking through that it wasn't an authentication type problem. That was all they did for the first 90 minutes of the call. Some test emails were sent and those sent from within Virgin seemed to take between 1 and 5 minutes to be delivered. A couple of external tests also came through within a few minutes. One email arrived which was sent more that 24 hours earlier. Looking at the email headers the delay is with the cluster of mx???-prd-nl1-vmo.edge.unified.services SMTP servers accepting incoming emails. The 24 hour delayed email was through mx12 for example. Eventually she said there is a delay on emails and apologised. I've no idea if she did find that out or just to get rid of me, but she said she's raising a complaint as I did express my displeasure that surely their IT department should be able to see this and also show it on the server status. She couldn't say when it will be fixed. Re: Emails not being received There is an issue, the top 5 or so posts in this forum are talking about. Virgin doesn't seem to know about it though, their service status is still saying all is well and there have been no responses about a resolution on here either. Re: Nasty blackmailing email Is there any indication that your email has been actually been compromised? I get those types of junk email quite often and although they may initially seem frightening they are just opportunistic spam. They send them to pretty much everyone in the hope you panic and pay up. Just delete it and forget about it. Re: Email help urgently please, emails so alow to come in! There are a number of us who have been having the same problem for the past 24 hours. Virgin seem unable to monitor their system and confirm there are any problems. This has happened a couple of times in the past and generally resolves within a couple of days but remains unacknowledged.
