Cannot access the forum using Safari I've been contributing to this forum for some time. Recently I have been unable to access the forum using Safari. I get the message "Forbidden - You don't have permission to access url". Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and how to resolve it? Kind Regards, Bill SolvedRe: Possible Hub 5 issue You need to use https://samknows.com/realspeed/ as this will measure the speed to the router not the device. It does sound as if something is not right. Notification Don't Work on this new forum Is it just me or does clicking on the bell icon (notifications) do nothing, an area of the screen just flashes and then appears blank. Used to work fine until this new forum format started. I use Safari on a Mac, I have also tried Chrome on the same device. Kind Regards, Bill Re: Received my new Hub 5 from Virgin however, EVERYTIME I log in using the Password it's saying incorrect! Have you tried a pin-hole reset? Re: New Forum..theme and design comments Not a fan of the new layout. Being an old codger with rubbish eyes I prefer something with a larger font and a bit of contrast. I end up zooming the text. Re: How to access hub IP address after installing mesh I think you need 192.168.100.1. Kind Regards, Bill Re: 2.4ghz Hi, I have HUB5 and distinct names for the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz networks. Seems to work OK. Any detail on the bug? Kind Regards, Bill Re: After upgrade I'm at my old speed in modem mode What are you using to test the speed? You need to use https://samknows.com/realspeed/ Apologies if you already know this. Re: Broadband speed I've been with VM for at least 10 years, had their broadband service since the days of NTL. On the whole I'd say the services are good and I get the speeds I pay for. Now and then you get the odd issue... Recently the internet kept dropping for about 30 seconds then would resume. So I though i'd re-boot the router. First time the router came back up - no internet at all. Second re-boot router came up with internet but no 5.0ghz network. Third re-boot router came up, again with no 5.0ghz network. Forth re-boot, all services came up. Weird or what? Kind Regards Bill
