Like I say everything seems to work, just a bit strange. Permanent red light I’m using a V6 box with 360 software. I’m just curious to be honest, on one of my boxes the light is permanently red regardless of the state. I can’t see that I have any issues, everything is working as I expect but wondering why this might be. Re: Renewed but change to Netflix I wasn’t out of contract, I renewed early (instead of Jan 25). As an aside anyone else amused that e-mail notifications about activity on forum posts go into the spam folder on the VM email client. Does make responding slow, Renewed but change to Netflix I just renewed my contract online ,same price, same package, or so I thought. It was in the details Netflix sub is now one step lower with ads. I understand this is now the standard offering, and it was there in front of me so I'm not complaining about that but I'm wondering if there is a way to upgrade to the next Netflix tier? I haven't watched it yet to see if the adverts bother me so I might still suck it up but handy to know if can amend. Whilst I'm on I noticed that I've been informed by first bill will be for a higher amount due to the changeover. Must admit considering my package is exactly the same price that confused me. I would have thought any payment in advance on the new contract would be offset by a refund on the old contract I've already paid. Maybe it makes sense somewhere Re: Bring back TIVO! I wish we could hear something from the VM hierarchy that they are listening and that they are looking to develop the software to answer some of the criticisms (or should I phrase suggestions for improvement). Maybe you can’t use TiVo software, but just picking at random I find it extremely hard to believe that having the equivalent of a recycling bin for deleted items is patentable, On another comment, is it worth putting forward through this forum improvements to the platform we would like to see. Would they be passed to the development team, and would they act on them? Series Links So having eventually after a bit of drama had my box updated to 360, I will probably post something on this and general impressions later however I’m looking at series links and wanting to check some things. As far as I can see there is no place to view a list of series links. Replicating some of the ones I had previously stored on V6, some cases there are repeat showings where I’ve changed the requirements to only record new episodes so the box doesn’t schedule any recordings but presumably will in future should new episodes be scheduled. However going back to my guide I can’t see anything on the programme to suggest there’s a series link set and already I can’t remember which ones I’ve set. Is there a way of verifying if there is a series link when I’m in the guide? Related question, previously you could specify a series link against a specific channel or any. How does it work on 360 (that selection field does not exist), if I set to record all is it checking all channels or am I going to have to do it on each channel.
