I reluctantly deleted a load of them and I was able to compose an email. But this still annoys me as I have Google Chrome and, whereas before I could choose which cookies to delete and would have just deleted those for Virgin Media, now I don't have a choice and now have to go through the rigamarole of proving my identity just to get back into website I use daily. Just to answer your query, I do have a Virgin Media O2 ID, I was able to log in the VM online account, and this is the way I've always accessed my emails but couldn't send up to now. Any ideas as to why this happened and/or how to avoid it happening again would be gratefully received. If it helps, I can confirm that I have VM broadband and the effected email account is linked to it. And when I went into Account settings, my email address was listed there. The broadband service did settle and VM asked me to arrange an appointment for one of their engineers to come and have look to make sure everything was working as well as it should, which happened on last Saturday (28/09). But now just went for about 30 minutes and the check status says everything's fine! I did the check on the hub even though I didn't think it was that. VM then ran a check and lo and behold, it's now working. I'm hoping that's the last of it, but I'm just wondering it anyone else had experienced the same. Hi Reece, I've just replied to Matthew on Forum Team via a thread I started on this subject at the same time as my post. I've not checked today, but Monday night I had to go back to emails as old as 2018 to clear the 'unread' ones, and there were emails unread that were previously deleted, copies of same emails received/sent/drafted, bizarre. Hi Matthew, Thank you for your reply. I've no changes at all to my email. I did go through the emails as I had over a thousand unread right back up to 2018! Some of them were emails I had deleted, some were same copies of emails/drafts/sent items. No idea why. It's not recurred yesterday. Re: Loss of Email - F010762348 I've just been able to access my email account - it's a ntl one - having been unable to do so all of yesterday. I note some users have received messages from VM explaining or apologising for what happened. I've received nothing, no email, no text, nothing. Genuine question - how do you get to this forum? I tried going through the VM help pages but to no avail and had to google the forum instead. it's not the first time either, and with the email facility dropping like that effecting many people, it would have been nice to see a direct link to this forum or on My VM when I logged in so I could find out the problem is being looked into and not waste time trying to fix it thinking it was just me. Perhaps there is one and I didn't see it, please do feel free prove me wrong! 😊
