Yesterday I got an email offering me a free Stream box which I could certainly make use of to add streaming TV to the spare bedroom. However, it implies in the email that when I connect up the new Stream box my existing TV 360 boxes will stop working or be contrally disabled. Is this the case or can I connect the new Stream box to my exisiting setup and continue to use the existing 2 TV 360 boxes? TIA Paul Re: New Build Installation Many thanks John - you’re a star! Paul Re: New Build Installation No - I've spoken to the builder and although they've installed Cat5 cabling throughout the house with a patch board in the cupboard under the stairs, they've made no provision for any broadband, TV or telephone connection to the actual house. I know VM is already available in the road as I have a friend who lives 2 doors down who has VM gigbit broadband, TV and phone 😬 Very irritating really as the brand new drive will no doubt need to be dug up to get a cable to the house. Any help or advice would be appreciated. New Build Installation Hi There I am an existing VM customer but I'm moving into a new build in March 2024. The house that I am moving to is one of 3 new builds that has been built on a plot that previsouly had a single house on it. The road is already cabled up and most of the neighbours are connected to VM but the post code checker still only has the original house address on it. So I'm stumped as to how to arrange for an engineer to visit the new property and see how it can be connected to the VM network. Is there a specific telephone numer I can call or email address I can message? TIA Paul Trickey
