Re: Any update on a complaint? i also post on cableforum.uk and they're telling me "I renewed in march and kept my 2 TiVo boxes, kept sky movies, TNT sports, Sky sports and viaplay and have gig 1 broadband and netflix for £82" "Cancel, refuse any renewal offer when you cancel and wait for a call back. I went from paying just over £90pm to £66pm - and kept Sky Sports / Cinema and TNT Sports. Hope it works for you 🙏" just makes me more confused. thanks again Any update on a complaint? Hello, I submitted an email for help and assistance and it turned into a complaint under C-200424194. Complaints are usually dealt with really speedy and well by virgin media but i've been waiting about 2 months now for a reply. I assume things have changed since o2 and virgin media merged...? My contract ends in less than 2 months and I'm really wanting to speak to someone to get a resolution. I'm getting very anxious and have mental health issues so its very stressful. I've been on virgin media for almost 25 years. Apparently i'm not seen as very important as a result as i'm a long term customer and this adds to my stress levels. I'm not sure why i havent had an update by now at least even to say "look its been 2 months we're still dealing with it" thats adding to my stress Any advice or info on whats occuring? Re: Log in to Sky Sports failing same issue here. tried MS Edge and chrome. i log in and nothing changes. no error message. just back to the home screen as if i havent bothered to log in. loop after loop still unable to play is fine on my iphone! Re: Had a renewal email- some questions Broadband Installation Virgin TV 360 Kids Pick Sky Sports HD Sky Sports & Cinema HD Mega TV Phone Line Rental Anytime chatter M500 Gig1 Fibre Broadband Main services total £40.00* Current monthly price from month 19 £115.00* Virgin Media add-ons Sky Sports SD Sky Cinema UHD WiFi Max Add-ons total £38.00 (30 day rolling contract) Virgin Media monthly total £77.00* Current monthly price from month 19 £152.00* ---------------------------------------------------------------- this email i keep getting isn't helpful and i'm desperate to try and speak to someone and tried contacting people then i submitted a complaint as i was told to. got one email and asked if the complaint could be closed so i said no. havent heard back in over a month. i currently have 3 v6 boxes. my new offer just says "tv 360" is this offer for one box or for my 3 current boxes? I'm also being quoted for broadband installation? i have broadband already and been with virgin media for nearly a quarter of a century. Things were very good when you had issues but i only seem to get answers here now....is anyone able to look into my complaint? Am i due a call which i requested? Haven't heard in over a month. is anyone able to look into my renewal offer and find out about the box situation? i'd really like to keep my v6 boxes but it doesnt appear to be an option Re: Had a renewal email- some questions Hi all, i've now got my offer. I'm currently paying £79 and it'll go up to £81 with this new deal for 18 months. However i've got some issues 1) TNT Sports is no longer included. Thats a bummer. So if i wanted that the contract would be £20 more than i'm currently paying. It doesnt make me want to re-up till August as i'm currently getting TNT Sports. How long is this offer available? 2) I currently have 3 v6 boxes. On my new potential contract all it says "Virgin TV 360" so am i going from having 3 boxes to just 1 box? Additional boxes are usually an extra five quid? So with TNT and this it would be an additional thirty quid a month? Finally do i need to move to tv360? can't i just stay on v6 software? My mum is elderly and has lots of recordings! Thank you for any info/advice you can provide Re: Had a renewal email- some questions hi thanks for the reply. i think it was 18 months previous from august 2024 as my bill says this: Additional discount that ends on 31 August 2024 + Ultimate bundle offer - 18 month saving, ends on 31 August 2024 + You're receiving a 3 discount. If you change your package you may lose this discount which will end on 31 August 2024 thanks for any advice Re: Had a renewal email- some questions Hi there! Nope it doesnt mention a price or package at all. so i'm wondering if it keeps my loyalty bonus for the 18 months or not? All it says is "Sign in to My Virgin Media now to check out your exclusive renewal offers. Forgotten your details? Don’t worry, we can help with that too." i sign in and can't see anything.... Any help would be most appreciated! Had a renewal email- some questions Hi all, i have a loyalty bonus at the moment but got this email "It looks like your contract's ending soon. As a thanks for being a Virgin Media customer, we’re giving you an exclusive price when you renew. You can browse, work, stream, and game just like you do now, and keep enjoying all your Virgin Media benefits, too. Not only that, but you’ll get peace of mind that your package price will stay the same until 31st March 2025. Monthly price will increase each April from April 2025 by RPI +3.9%." It doesn't mention anythng about my loyalty discount continuing? Can anyone confirm this or not? i assume not. Cost of living means after 24 years of telewest and virgin media i am actually looking for value of money this time... i know for a fact TNT Sports won't be included anymore is it reduced however for people on bigger packages or the same price for all? How much is it? I watch WWE (dont judge me) and it moves to netflix january so only need a bit longer... Re: Virgin Media switches on residential 2Gbps broadband service Previously we were told that our bill increases were due to improvements to the network and we'd sometimes get free speed upgrades. Now we're getting huge bill increases and are being told its due to improvements to the network but we'd need to pay a ton more to get it. So can we on behalf of the virgin media customers STOP IMPROVING THE NETWORK THEN YOU WONT HAVE AN EXCUSE TO INCREASE OUR BILLS SO MUCH. If we've got to pay that much more to "enjoy" the improved network its bloody not worth it hahaha
