No error codes are shown unfortunately . will see if it improves over the next few days Re: Loss of certain channels Yes, no faults found using either Loss of certain channels Hi Past couple of days I am getting a regular loss of the ‘U &…’ channels (eg U& Dave) Weirdly they tend to ‘go dark’ at the same ish time each day (about 16:30) picture freezes then just a black screen They appear on the channel lists but black screen and no sound , other channels seem ok. As I say…. A reboot usually sorts it for a while, but then happens again. Next time it occurs will check the other BBC channels suggested. But curiosly I am also now getting random sound drop outs. The 360 box seems to be quite hot (not closed in) John Intermittent BBC1 ? Hi Over the past few days we have had an issue with BBC1. Just shows a black screen, all other channels appear to be ok. Usual fault finding checks say nothing is wrong ? Re: Need to Cancel my Mums account Okay, so I rang this team and apparently they can’t close the account until my Mum is in the care home ? She is in hospital with advanced Alzheimer’s, 91 years old, doesn’t know who I am let alone anything else, waiting for a care home placement, and will never be going home again, so she has to keep paying for an unused service ? I have Power of Attorney over all my mums affairs so should be able to close her account on her behalf and taking into account her best interests But at least VirginMedia keep their coffers filled up preying on incapacitated people Shame on you
