I was at work and couldn't speak for long, so I asked for call back and an email quote to upgrade and have Mega TV included. I was sent an email with a Contract information sheet number, but this hasn't been activated as I missed the initial rep phoning back because I was still at work. I've had numerous reps phoning since then, trying to offer me a new deal. When I try and point them back to the previous quote, they are evasive - making excuses that they can't access the details. It's almost as if they don't want another rep to take the commission. Phoned 150 yesterday and spoke to a lady who said leave it 14 days and phone back if it hasn't kicked in. I have zero confidence she's activated the original quote, I had to read back all the details on the Contract information sheet, even though it should be on her screen! She was lovely but seemed clueless. I don't want to wait 14 days if she's messed up, I'll be paying a larger bill. Are there any forum Mods viewing who can take the quote number, see if it's in progress and, if not, get this implemented? Many thanks :) SolvedRe: Main Box and TV Go ... how many concurrent viewers? Thanks newapollo, that answered my question perfectly. Really appreciate the time and advice :) Main Box and TV Go ... how many concurrent viewers? Hi, this is should be a basic question but can't find a definitive answer. Does watching the 360box count towards your "2 streams" if also watching with TV Go? For example, the wifes in one room watching soaps on the 360 box. I'm in the next room on a laptop watching Sky Sports through their app. Can the kids then ALSO watch something using TVGo on their phone or tablet? Thanks for a hopefully easy answer :) SolvedRe: TV6 box still available? Thanks both, that's very useful. I've got coax going into a Hub 4 so guess I'll be OK :) Re: TV6 box still available? Hi newapollo, I'd also like to upgrade to include TV with a 360box. Is there any way I can check if I'm on the DOCSIS network (I've had Blueyonder broadband since, well, since Blueyonder was still a thing)? My landline stopped worked a few months ago and VM sent me an adapter so it now plugs directly into the hub, if that means anything? Many thanks if you can help. Re: Mega TV upgrade sending Stream box Thank you nodrogd, that's really helpful ... and very frustrating! Shame you can't talk to someone with your knowledge who can actually get something done. We had TiVO a few years ago so all the cabling is in place and a self install would be OK I think. Thanks again for your insight Re: Mega TV upgrade sending Stream box Hi, glad Issueepic got his mum sorted. My wife is a different problem! We're in a similar situation in that we have broadband and phone, contract is due to come to an end next month. We'd like to use Virgin for the TV, but would specifically want a V6 or a 360 box for the recordings. Currently we use SkyQ which is fine - the wife records her soaps and stuff and it's instantly available on the Q box, fast forward, really straight forward. No way will she entertain the mucking around between different apps, then have to wait for the ads to finish trying to sell her things. Spoke to the call centre at Virgin about upgrading but they said they can't supply new customers with a 360 box (broadband since Telewest but still "new" lol). Do I have to wait till next month and cancel before it gets escalated, or do they genuinely never supply a recordable box anymore?
