Main Box and TV Go ... how many concurrent viewers?

Hi, this is should be a basic question but can't find a definitive answer.

Does watching the 360box count towards your "2 streams" if also watching with TV Go?

For example, the wifes in one room watching soaps on the 360 box.

I'm in the next room on a laptop watching Sky Sports through their app.

Can the kids then ALSO watch something using TVGo on their phone or tablet?

Thanks for a hopefully easy answer :)

  • TVGO is completely separate to your 360 set top box.  The set top box does not count as a streaming device.

All Virgin TV customers can register up to five devices on the Virgin TV Go app and view on two devices simultaneously, at no extra cost. So YES the kids can ALSO watch something using TVGO on their phone or tablet whilst you are using TVGO on a laptop, and your wife is watching the soaps on the TV360 set top box.

Please note that the only Sky Sports channels that are available on the VM TVGo app are Sky Sports News, Sky Sports Mix and Sky Sports Racing.

Providing you have a Sky Sports subscription then for mobiles and tablets you need to use the Sky Sports app for android or ios to watch any of the other Sky Sports channels (the TVGo app should automatically open the Sky Sports app if you have installed it)

You can also watch Sky Sports on a windows or ios computer via the browser by going to  skysports.com and clicking on Login, then click on the Virgin TV UK icon.  Sign in using your My Virgin Media account details and then select a channel, and then a program.

If you haven't already got it installed then you should be prompted download the Sky Sports Player. Your show will start playing and your device will register itself automatically.

You can register and stream programmes on up to two devices at any one time using the Sky Sports app
