Constant calls from 0800 052 8675
Hi, I have been getting frequent calls recently from VM (0800 052 8675). When I did manage to answer one, I wasn't able to understand properly what the call was about -due to a combination of my poor hearing and the lady's accent. I finally started to get emails this morning around 09:45. I didn't change any passwords - account or mail settings - as I could send emails, but not receive. My iphone stopped prompting me for an IMAP password and my PC stopped asking for the POP3 password. I'm still not receiving any emails [though I can send ok -tested with my backup Hotmail email]. 13:00 has come and gone and the service status page now states: "We hope to fix this by 23 June at 13:00 Our technician is in your area and is working to fix things. You might find that your Virgin Media Mail isn't working at the moment. We are sorry and working hard to restore your Mail service as quickly as possible. We'll send you text updates on this issue." 23 June? - an entire week without emails? I still can't access emails - down since early morning Mon 19th. The status checker page has now moved the time from 16:00 {2023-06-20] to 20:00. And no, I haven't received any text updates. Checking the service status on my account now shows: "We hope to fix this by 19 June at 21:30 Our technician is in your area and is working to fix things.
