I have exactly the same problem, it is sending me mad. I made my fourth call to VM and o2 this morning it lasted over an hour until I gave up in frustration. I phoned o2 after receiving a letter from them complaining I hadn't paid my bill of £55 and threatening me with debt collectors if I din't cough up. I hadn't received a bill! I was shoved from pillar to post from 02 back to vm etc etc ad infinitum. O2 said they couldn't take my money as I had no account with so I was transferred to VM. They transferred me back to O2 etc etc. Back and forwards I went until, after over an hour, the agent said he would transfer me again. I gave up almost in tears and I still haven't paid the bill. Why has VM given me all this aggro? I am at my wits end.
Have you had any joy with virgin/o2 ?
I ended up paying the £80 bill and cancelled my sim, only to receive a £54 bill off o2 today. I'm at my wits end and will be contacting and cancelling my virgin media account tomorrow.
08005884213.... have you had any joy with your bill ? I've finally sorted mine out by phoning the payment line., spoke to a lovely person, its finally all sorted and I owe them nothing... account closed. I've popped their number on the top for you 🙂
