O2 sim and mega volt light

I’m a customer of virgin media and 02 and get volt benefits on my o2 account. I today renewed my virgin media contract and went for the Mega Volt (light) bundle. I was told by the operative this doesn’t include a free 02 sim that is advertised to new customers as I’ve got a deal on the light version of the mega volt bundle but noticed on the my virgin media app on the top panel that it now shows the icon saying 02 sim included - why is this ? I have a contract with o2 aswell so I’m a bit confused. Thanks

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.

If you are already a Volt customer pre renewing a deal, you'd not get a new O2 SIM. You already have one so are already paying O2 for a SIM and thus don't need to pay O2 a second time.
