Did you ever get this fixed? Have the same problem, boxes on same network and see each other but can’t access recordings. On demand fine

Are you using WiFi to connect the boxes to your network?
This is usually the issue, especially if both use it. Streaming requires far more bandwidth than exchanging basic data (programme lists etc).
