That’s TV (150) missing listings

That’s TV is now only showing “The Best Music” up until 8pm and then “That’s entertainment” for the evening time in the planner listings. it’s like this every day until it gets to the “To Be Announced” days.

At the moment Benny Hill is on but is not showing in the planner and none of the other programs for any night are showing, so no recordings can be made

My 360 box is also showing "That’s entertainment” instead of the program name and synopsis (apart from it correctly listing the That's 60's/70's/80's:The Best Music" shows)

The program info was the same on my terrestrial (Freeview) TV's earlier today, however they've now been updated with the correct program information.

No issues with the other sister channel that is carried on VM - That's 60's on channel 296

There had also been isues with program titles on channel 159 (Talk Teesside) part of Talk TV News up until today on my 360 box - It had been showing Live Feed for the majority of the listings apart from Your North East which is a local news programs (the programs titled Live feed are just a simulcast of the programs on the Talk TV News channel (606)) although that's been rectified today

.The general advice is if the VM program listings differ from the  broadcasters website. is to contact 

tivoguideerrors@virginmedia.co.uk    

They are generally quick of the mark to rectify the information although they don't tend to reply to the emails.

Just  to advise that I've now rebooted my 360 and the program info on channel 150 is all present and correct now.

The V6 box generally updates the EPG around every 6 hours, however if you try rebooting your box now it may have updated with the correct info, or you could try going into Home - Help and Settings - Settings - Network - Connect to the Virgin Media Service Now and that should force the EPG to update

There should not generally be any need to reboot a V6 to update EPG issues. The manual connection is more than sufficient.

I did a network connect and update last night and it did update something but the listings for That's TV were still missing. I haven't looked yet this morning but will do so in an hour or so.

Just turned the box on and it has listings for today but it still hasn't got anything after today for this channel.

I also did another update and that hasn't loaded anything else on this channel.

My V6 is showing listings for Ch150 upto & including Sunday 26th. If you find any other channel affected, a restart may be worth trying - but I'd expect multiple channels to be affected if that were to work.

I’ve just powered it down completely and restarted and it’s still the same. 

Are planner listings done by region by any chance? Maybe that explains my issue?

Also - my box in the kitchen is showing the same listings (or lack of) for this channel.

Interestingly, my Tv Control app on my ipad isn’t even showing listings for today for this channel.

As per my previous post, a restart for missing EPG listings is rarely (if ever) a fix unless it's just the symptom of another issue with the TiVo/V6

EPG listings are indeed regional - to account for the BBC & ITV differences, I would always expect different boxes in the same region to have the same issue. I'd be quite surprised if a non-regional channel had differences between regions, but that's certainly the next thing to check.

It has now filled in the listings for next Monday until Friday but not tomorrow and Sunday. Oh well, better than nothing I suppose
