ITVX - NOT streaming episodes

I’m a fully paid-up ITVX Subscriber on a yearly basis and until quite recently, in the last couple of days, I’ve been unable to watch ALL available new ITVX programmes as listed in the ITVX app. On selecting a particular programme all I get is a blank screen. I have no problems watching any ITVX programmes thro’ my iPad (nor via an Apple TV boxed system). I’ve rebooted my virginmedia TIVO V6 Box but to no avail. None of my other apps like iPlayer seem to be affected. 

why can’t I stream current ITVX programmes?

Wouldn't surprise me Virgin Media and ITV are having a despute about pricing which is why you've lost ITVX. Maybe try accessing the app on another platform and see if that works. 

Yes - I can access ITVX on other platforms like via my Apple TV Box and my Apple iPad

Sorry to say I’m a #METOO - I Can’t stream any of the latest programmes from ITVX - eg I couldn’t watch the very last episode of THE TWELVE - Series 2 and nor can I see Episode 1 of TOWER Series 3. Are you still having problems or did you get a fix ?

Do you have any specific examples? I can't help but think this query should be directed at ITV, they write & code the app & VM provide access to it.

This does sound like an in-app error - ITV Contact us may be useful.

I tried rebooting (this time) of BOTH my Hub & TiVo Box did that NOT work!
 
However - resetting the ITVX app via my Virgin TiVo/TV System - which necessitated my logging in again from scratch and pairing my account, etc - seems to have done the trick and like on my iPad & Apple TV Box I can now view the latest versions of GRACE, THE TOWER & THE TWELVE. But I did have to “RETRY” a couple of times after pairing up !
 
Fingers crossed - There are no more hiccups
