i am replacing my old TV newer model.is is it just a matter of connecting my set top box cables to the new TV or am I going to run into any problems Thank you

Hi @infidel 

You will probably need to pair the 360 remote to your new TV.  You might also need to set up the internet connection again on the 360 if you currently connect via wifi and not ethernet cable. 

Other than that everything should be the same, but your new TV may also need connecting to the VM internet. Your new TV may also have different picture modes compared to your old TV so might need fine tuning (not just for the 360 but also other connected devices)  My latest LG TV's offer various picture modes for Movies, Sports, Games, etc)

Your TV360 connects to your TV using an HDMI lead - simply unplug that from your existing TV and connect it to an HDMI port on your new TV.

Unless you're also changing your VM home-hub, the internet connection on your TV360 has nothing to do with your TV. Pairing the new TV with your TV360 remote matters, if you already use your VM remote to control your TV.
