When watching itv1 error code cs2002 appears. Also lose of all recording. Technician no show.

Error code cs2002 on itv1 at least once a week. Also lose of all recording. It does resolve itself overnight. But lose of recording is not good enough. Technician didn’t arrive for appointment. Virgin said on phone they cancelled it cus fault had rectified itself. We stayed in afternoon with being told of cancellation. Poor customer service. All we want is a replacement box. Don’t think that’s much to ask.

There was this problem  last October but that is supposed to have been fixed, if your box has deleted your recordings I would be thinking it is faulty and needs replacing.

You could a factory reset to see if that makes any difference while you waiting for the forum team to respond which might be a couple of days.

It's only a partial system reset and not a complete factory reset. You are given 2 options,

Keep Recordings
Format Disk

Choosing Keep Recordings, means you won't lose your recordings and any planned recordings or series links you've set up, but you will have to sign into your apps such as iPlayer, Prime, Netflix and ITVX again, also Match frame rate and Standby power consumption will go back to their default settings if you have changed them.
