You can watch live TV through your Virgin 360 box, the live TV comes through the coax cable that will be split with one going to your 360 box and the other one going to the hub.
Any on-demand, streaming services and updates come via the internet and your hub.
You can always have an aerial for Freeview as a backup should Virgin TV go down which hasn't happened to me very often. 🤞

Your TV360 box has an HDMI output, which you connect using an HDMI lead, to your TV.
Freeview is the terrestrial digital platform which uses broadcast masts for TX & aerials for RX. Virgin Media is a cable platform, which uses the co-ax cable for receiving live TV signals. OnDemand & streaming services use your home-hub for the internet connection, with an Ethernet connection from your TV360 to home-hub recommended.
I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media. Learn more

To simply answer your question. No you won't need an aerial, the 360 Box is a Cable Box. It gets its channels through Virgin's Cable, you dont need any sort of antenna to recieve TV with a 360 Box.
