Upgraded to virgin 360 and now have audio issues

I know this has been posted before but I could not see a definitive answer. I have stupidly “upgraded” to this new virgin 360 with the new remote. Now every so often with live TV and recorded shows there is a slight delay in the audio and sometimes it happens after a few minutes or sometimes it doesn’t happen for a while but it always drifts away. Now it starts to happen on my apps like YouTube from my Samsung TV, not even on the app via virgin. I have looked at solutions and they all say about changing the audio settings to or from Dolby and this works for about 10 minutes but then it drifts again. I regret upgrading so much and it’s even making me want to change to sky, only thing keeping me is the broadband is very good. Also this only happens on our main TV downstairs where we have the soundbar, upstairs it doesn’t seem to be an issue. I’ve tried unplugging and re plugging the cables, so they’re not loose. Please, any advice would be appreciated!
