For the love of God....
DONT DO IT.

It really isn't an upgrade. The only reason I had it was to be able to access the Disney+ app but the recording features are a lot worse than the V6 box

The V6 box has an update / upgrade option app from memory so the option to ask for the 360 update should be there. You can always wait for one of the Forum team to respond if you can't update.
The V6 and 360 use different software and therefore have different features so if there are features on the V6 that you use frequently do a search on the forum to see if they are still supported with the 360 software, Wishlists is one example. Disney and Paramount+ apps are available on the 360 with subscription and Sky Sports +.

Sky Sports + is available on the V6 now.
As suggested OP, don't do it, it's a downgrade of many that functions that you have now.

They are patents VM doesn't want to pay for anylonger. Hence the big push to downgrade customers to the 360. Call it an 'upgrade' and the punters will fall for it....

Can't see why Global media would want to carry on with TiVo in the UK if they use their own in house software in their other operations it doesn't really make economic sense even if it's a better experience for the viewer. Also with the push every operator wants towards streaming services without local recording facilities which their software is based on then you might lose a few customers now but it could make them a better option in the future, who knows I don't have a crystal ball. 🔮

I'm not sure it will make them a better option in the future, the push away from broadcast to streaming seems to just be making Virgin's TV service obsolete, why pay Virgin for a sub when it just gives you access to streaming services you can get for free anyway.

I was thinking more about the Premium streaming services where you have to pay, Disney, Netflix, Sky and TNT sports.
