The new 360 upgrade is incredible!!

If you see an option to get a new remote to upgrade definitely do it!

Can't believe they didn't need to replace the box, it was performing sluggish before but now with a much improved interface it seems a lot faster as well. Seems like there are more options to watch shows either from live or the start too.

I love the app integration as well, shame there's no now TV but I guess they want you to buy sky sports from them.

Glad the migration (it's not an upgrade, it's a change of operating system) worked well for you. The people that have problems migrating are the ones with ageing V6 boxes. The older they are the more likely they are to fail either at migration or shortly after.

Out of interest, which apps are you liking the integration with?

How well does it work when your Internet connection drops?

Found a Wishlist yet?

Have you noticed you can't record radio programmes now?

For some people the "upgrade" is nothing of the sort. All the things that made the TiVo service excellent have gone, it's like stepping back to the dark ages.

Some of the missing features are as follows; Wishlists (where you can set the box to record programs on certain subjects or featuring certain people), undelete, series link+, series link manager, suggestions, setting of series links for programs not in the current TV guide, ethernet control, keyboard support via USB, switching between tuners with constant buffering, skip-back on fast-forward, quickplay, default recording options, cancelling individual recordings from a series link, multi-channel series links, radio channels allowing recording of radio, separation of recordings between boxes, watching recordings when internet is not available and probably a few others I've forgotten.

Also, extra boxes do not have their own hard disks or tuners (unless converted from a V6 box), so you lose storage space and recording ability and are also reliant on the main box being on to watch and set recordings and also on having a decent wi-fi signal (or ethernet cable) between the two boxes when watching recordings.

I also quite like the 360 interface, it just works for me. I get the issues some users have, but personally once I adapted to the differences I found it cleaner and easier to use.

I'm sure it mostly works fine (apart from the few annoyances like pooled recordings and lots of clicks to do a lot of basic stuff like getting to recordings) but it no longer offers anything that you can't get on a basic Freeview PVR or SkyQ etc. I switched to using Plex as my PVR, which is not as good as the V6 but does every thing the 360 does and more, like auto-skip on adverts, but only costs £3.99 a month (or a one off fee of about £60)
