TV Connection Help

Tuning in

I'm looking for some connection advice before adding tv to my broadband. My virgin wall socket is in the same place as the TV but the Virgin Hub is approx 4 metres away (extension cable) So to connect leaving the Virgin Hub where it is now can I.

Disconnect extension cable from wall socket - Fit the Isolator Cable to wall socket then connect the splitter and then connect the extension cable that goes to my Virgin Hub to the splitter - Would need Female to Female f connector to do so.

The other part of the splitter would then go to the 360 Box. My question is would this work?

Well-intentioned DIY installs are not a good idea where VM is concerned.

Request a manned engineer installation as part of your TV360 order and the tech will ensure the necessary co-ax cabling is provided in your chosen locations, and signal levels all balanced.

You can connect the 360 to the hub via Wi-Fi, wired is obviously preferable but I would have thought at a fairly close range like that that Wi-Fi would work fine. The main co-axial connection for receiving the TV channels does need to be wired, but sounds like your setup is fine in that regard.
