I’ve had this problem with Sky Cinema since I’ve had it. I’ve had an engineer out and he fixed it but the next day after the tv had been switched off overnight and all day whilst I was at work I had no sound. So I reset and reinstalled everything. Ok for a while but now again unwatchable - for picture and sound. Nothing I do makes it better. All other channels and everything else works absolutely fine but not Sky Cimena.
Thirty years of Diamond Cable, NTL and Virgin Media but the service has never been so bad. I have no home phone now as it would have to go upstairs. Could they have fed a cable down - yes as a cable goes up from the front of the house to the back bedroom for the router. An engineer came out but the supposed answer to them changing the way my phone works was for me to buy a new one with multiple handsets so the base unit stays in the bedroom and the handsets can be plugged in around the house. My one phone in the front room was enough. It’s not cheap buying new multi handset ones. have missed multiple calls and messages since re: my uncle and his emergency heart by-pass and a delivery I was expecting and chasing but they all had my landline number. If VM really want us to have and pay for changes they should make sure the unwanted changes inflicted on us actually work and that we don’t just get dumped on especially when you work 12 hour days and haven’t got time to spend on the phone trying to get it sorted- again!!
