Profile Update Conflict CS6211

Hi

Yesterday I moved over to V360 and so far I really like it. However I have an issue as follows.... (see screenshot also).

I have created a profile on the mini box, but it is not showing on the main box (the one screenshotted) and if I try and create on this box I get this error.... do I need to create on the main box for them to be shared? Is there some other issue? I couldn't find anything similar on the forum so starting another thread. Thanks in advance

    I have never seen that error message before, but I have two suggestions you can try.

    Try setting the profile up on the main 360 box but give it a different name (you can edit the name later).

    Or delete the profile that you set up on the mini box and then try setting it up again on the main box.

    Once set up (fingers crossed it works) then just press the profile button on the top right hand side of the 360 remote to switch between profiles.

    To edit or delete a profile either select the profile icon from the navigational bar at the top of the home screen, or press the profile button on the remote. 

    A screen showing the profiles will appear, highlight the pencil icon below the profile you want to edit or delete. this brings up the profile settings and then select 'Edit or delete profile'

  • Thanks. Trust me to break it straightaway! I did delete and create on the main box but used the same name. I'll try as you say and report back

  • well nearly lol... the error has gone but it's still not quite right... I deleted the profile, created a new one with just the initial (K) on the main box. That then appeared on the mini box. I then edited the name to the full name on the main box, but it is still showing as just K on the mini box on the Profiles screen, but everywhere else (the little pop up or when I edit, it is showing in full! :-S

      Haha, sounds about right. Have you rebooted the mini box since then?
