Hi All,
First time here.
I have a Panasonic 55 inch TV which was bought in March 2020. Model No TX 55GX550B. It worked fine with the Virgin Tivo box but when the Virgin engineer changed it to 360 box this year ( 2024), the TV then cut off. Let me explain - every two 2 days you can get the sound but no picture. Thought the fault lay with virgin media so they came twice and checked everything including the HDMI lead and everything was working. But it happened again - sound but no picture. They said its something to do with the TV.
So I got a separate TV engineer to check this out. He said the TV model I have finished getting updates in 2022. He said I may need to get a new TV but would reset everything on the old TV and see if that works. Again it worked for a few days but then again sound but no picture.
I am reluctant to get a new TV as it works perfectly fine for 2 days and then I have turn off everything and put it back on including the TV. This also means fiddling with the TV remote ie on and off a few few times until a picture comes up!
If anyone knows what I am talking about, I would welcome your suggestions / comments on how this can be resolved.
