The manual says it’s HDCP 2.2 compatible, so it should work on all resolutions including UHD. Is it just a 4K UHD problem or does it affect the other resolutions? I would try forcing the box to HD (1080p) & see if the same problem happens again.
Hi I read what you kindly suggested but I am not sure how to do this practically, ie forcing the box to HD (1080P). Could you possibly explain or let me know if its explained on YouTube. Just need the link to that. Many thanks, Vivienne

Hi Vivienne
Click on Settings (the cog wheel on the navigational panel at the top of the screen) then click on Audio & Video > then click on HDMI Resolution and this will open another screen whre you can select 1080p. The screen will go blank for a few seconds and then it will ask you to confirm the new resolution. If you don't click anything it own't change. You can always go back in there and change to Automatic or 4K etc.
I would have thought that when the engineer visited that he would have tried (or exchanged your current HDMI cable) with a new HDMI cable that is HDCP 2.2 compatible.
If you have any other equipment that uses HDMI cables I would try using one of those cables to see if it makes any difference as they might be HDCP 2.2 compatible. The cables should be ultra or high speed.
There's one priced @£6.99 on /amazon (there are other available but it is HDCP2.2 compliant and not a bad price)
A member of the forum team might be able to send you one out.

Thank you so much for coming back to me on this.
As kindly recommended, I will try the new HDMI cable that is HDCP 2.2 compatible.
I will let you know if this finally works.
thanks,
Vivienne

Fingers crossed Vivienne.
If you do purchase one from Amazon you should be able to return it if it doesn't make any difference, athough if it were me then I would keep it as I'd probably need it at some point in the future.
