I checked my emails this morning to find MUTV has been added to my package at an extra £8 per month. I didn't add this and my wife certainly didn't. My 7 year old did look on the TV yesterday to see if Villa were on the TV as he knew champions league games were on. I'm assuming he has somehow added this channel then, however I wasn't in the room when he was doing this.
I have parental controls added for payments on my 360 so I assumed this would stop this type of thing but looking at the blurb around this online this only stops purchase of films or other one of payments.
Is there no way to stop a child from adding an additional channel to your package via the TV?
I called in this morning to get them to remove but they advised I have to wait 24-48 hours for the system to update before they can remove this MUTV channel.

yes it has, do you have to put the pin in when adding a channel? I don't want to try myself as don't want another channel added

Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with MUTV being ordered without you knowing.
I have tested this myself as a United fan it wouldn't be too bad for me to add it on to my account haha. Once you have clicked add the channel to your package you are asked for the TV pin to proceed any further.
