how much is 1 additional basic box for another room, i can't seem to find this info, i find the info banging on about how great it is but when i go into my account, can't see how to add it, or how much it is, and the chat was useless 😞

Hi @admars

Info below copy pasted from /virginmedia.com/broadband/virgin-media-broadband

Sub sections The Legal Stuff > TV

Existing customers adding TV: £30 network installation fee where QuickStart is unavailable. £10* monthly recurring service extension fee for the first additional box plus £5* monthly recurring service extension fee for any further boxes.

The same info is available in that section towards the bottom of all web pages showing VM's current offers.

You have two choices.

1) Stick with TiVO & have another V6 box in another room. This will double your recording capacity as both boxes are independent of each other as well as being able to view each other’s content.

2) Migrating to V360 Horizon, the additional box would be a mini diskless box. This will be totally reliant on the main V360 box for recorded content.

With both options you will require a technician install, as the additional box must be connected directly to VMs coaxial cable as well as to your VM hub.

The rental for a multi room box on either platform is £10 a month.

thanks, shame they don't make it more obvious, and put it on the multi-room page, and odd the chat couldn't help

extra £10, may as well buy a roku or similar then since I have the most basic tv package and not bothered about watching things recorded in one room in the other, ta
