Hi,
My brother just told me he has upgraded to v360 and received a new remote. I have a V6 box but see nothing on the home screen or in apps to perform the upgrade.

My advice is don’t at this time anyway. Currently multiple customers inc myself are having issues with this upgrade.
if your brothers system is working then he is very lucky.

You're in a better position than many - by being able to try out TV360 before choosing to convert.
Fundmentally this is not so much an upgrade as a complete change of TV box software - V6 runs TiVo-software, TV360 runs Horizon-software and is completely different.
There are pros & cons both ways, but a voluntary migration is irreversible - so try out your brother's box first, it's an ideal way of deciding if the conversion is suitable for you.

I have had the 360 box for some time and personally like it although it does take some time to get used to it.

Thanks for posting and welcome back to the community.
On your V6 box try this;
Please follow the below steps;
1.) Turn on all V6 boxes: take your current TV boxes off standby and check that they're connected to the Internet, ready to download TV 360.
2.) Pop the telly on: check that it's set to the correct Input and that Virgin TV is playing.
At this stage, there are two potential options for the next step:
3i.) Grab the old V6 remote: tap the Home button, select Sky Sports+ on Virgin TV 360 at the bottom or the Virgin TV 360 Free Upgrade box at the top of the TV screen.
3ii.) Grab the old V6 remote control: tap the Home button, select Apps & Games > All Apps > Upgrade To Virgin TV 360 Now.
4.) The "Upgrade now to Virgin TV 360" screen will appear. To proceed, select the top menu option, "Get Virgin TV 360"

Don't do it! It sucks. Totally not user friendly. I have recordings showing that won't let me watch, or delete - if I try to watch from the recordings list it takes me to the main screen for that show and doesn't give a 'watch' option only a 'delete all recordings' option. I hate it and I've had it about three months now. If it's not improved by the time my contract is up, I won't be renewing.

Horizon? please tell me not as in 'Horizon' that was he source of the Post Office scandal. I wouldn't be surprised mind - it's awful.
